What happened to Katie?
I enjoyed this movie, but this was certainly not a Mummy movie, this was an Evil Dead Movie wrapped up to look like a mummy movie…
Im not normally a fan of extreme horror or this level of gore… but i enjoyed this movie, it was certainly brutal!
all the critics reviews i’ve read so far have been correct in my eyes, the film is certainly brutal, heavy on the gore. If your a fan of the recent Evil Dead movies you will love this film! but don’t go into this expecting as regular mummy movie…
The horror elements to this film was superb! Natalie Grace who played Katie did a superb job! all the special fx were amazing and the gore was awesome!!! but the family dynamic of the movie felt a little flat to me.
In between the horror elements I did find myself waiting for the horror to resume. this is the only reason I didnt rank this film higher to be honest.. the gore, fx and actual presentation of the film and the way the story is told is great… just wish the family dynamic was a little tighter!
either way im rating this 4*’s
