The Severed Sun | Folk British Horror | Movie Review – I was able to sit down and watch an early screener for the film THE SEVERED SUN a British folk horror story, laced with thrills and atmosphere, designed to unease.
In an isolated religious community, Magpie kills her abusive husband, awakening a supernatural Beast. She becomes an outcast, and as the Beast unleashes bloody carnage, a brutal witch hunt begins, tearing the community apart.
Its a good movie, it does leave some things open to interpretation and provides ample of atmosphere in this deep, dark, rich horror film.
Its out today (October 6th) On Streaming Platforms and its well worth a watch!
