My Valentines Day Movie Recommendations

🖤💘 Valentine’s Day… but make it HORROR 💘🖤

If you’re anything like me and prefer spooky vibes over rom-coms, here are my ultimate Valentine’s Day horror movie picks for a killer movie night 👀🍿

Valentine (2001) – My go-to February 14th slasher! Starring David Boreanaz and Denise Richards, this early 2000s horror features a Cupid-masked killer and classic 00s vibes. A total Valentine’s staple.

Lisa Frankenstein (2024) – 80s-inspired, gothic, and oddly romantic. Not super scary, but perfect for couples who love dark humour. If you’re a Beetlejuice fan… this is FOR YOU.

Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992) – Sleek, seductive, and visually stunning. This star-studded gothic retelling is pure dark romance and one of the most atmospheric Valentine’s watches.

Bride of Chucky (1998) – “Chucky gets lucky.” Horror’s most chaotic couple, Chucky and Tiffany, bring romance, mayhem, and iconic 90s energy.

Corpse Bride (2005) – Tim Burton’s gothic animated classic. Romantic, tragic, and beautifully macabre with an incredible voice cast.

The Mummy (1999) – “Death is only the beginning.” Adventure, romance, and resurrection. Imhotep will literally cross eternity for love… dramatic king behaviour.

My Bloody Valentine (1981 / 2009) – Whether you prefer the original or the remake, this miner-slasher is a February 14th essential.

Heart Eyes (2024) – A masked killer with glowing red eyes returns every Valentine’s Day to target unsuspecting couples… 👀💔
