I have been waiting for this to drop on Shudder since the first trailer and it did not disappoint.
Night Of The Reaper takes the idea of a Babysitter Horror Movie… adds in some some Slasher influences … set in the 1980s during Halloween Season… its the perfect setup and it works!
This film in the first half felt familiar, it had the same sort of setup that a Fear Street Movie would have… those classic 80s Point Horror books I read as a kid… but then mid way through it changes gears and becomes a slasher movie like Scream.
Well worth a watch! i really enjoyed it! I went into this movie not expecting much with it being a Shudder movie… but actually it was great!! and a perfect movie to add to your spooky season watchlist. I would watch again for sure!
