This past Monday, M3GAN 2.0 dropped on DVD and I got the chance to sit down last night and watch the movie for the first time and I got to admit… It didn’t disappoint!
I don’t understand everyone’s hate on this movie.
it was fun, quick witted and offered a great perspective on our reliance on modern technology and what the dangers of the advancement of AI if left unchecked.
M3GAN is back and she’s wittier than ever, they left some of the more serious horror tropes behind for the sequel and opted for a more… Terminator 2 style adventure… which to be honest I’m all for. I like the character of M3GAN and enjoyed the action adventure.
There is still elements of a horror under all this, it did not hold back on gore and violence and left me actually hoping we see M3GAN again in the future.
