It didn’t take long for the new Marvel Legends Maximum Series Spider-Man to sell out on Hasbro Pulse website!!
The figure officially launched on the 13th February with the price point finally revealed to be £49.99
It also officially sold out at Comics & Cocktails who were selling the figure for £46.99. Star Action Figures also had the figure for £46.95 and In Demand Toys who had the figure for £46.99
At the time of writing this article Props & Replicas are showing import stock for pre order at £49.95 which is still available.
Online the debate has been sparked about if this figure is truly worth the price being asked for by Hasbro. Worth is very subjective and can be open to debate. Worth can only be established by the buyer themselves and everyone will have a different opinion on it and that is okay. Regardless of online opinion, the figure has sold out fast.
Personally I am not a huge Spider-Man fan so this one was an easy pass for me. However I know tons of web-head collectors who are chomping at the bit to own this new Marvel Legends figure.
Either way it is great to see Hasbro do something new and different with the Marvel Legends line and I hope we see more from the maximum line with more exciting character choices in the future.
